Current Training Classes:

ASP© Tactical Baton: $115 Per Student.  In this eight hour, hands on course you will learn the ASP Warm-Up, the seven components of power, confrontational continuum and mechanics of the ASP inside and out. You will be taught the interview stance,verbal skills, combat stance, target areas, opening and closing the baton, as well as strike force and forgiving techniques. You will be given and have to pass a written test and be proficient in all techniques.

Upon successful completion of the ASP Tactical Baton Certification course, students will be certified by Armament Systems and Procedures for two years.

Ground Control: $75 per student.  This four hour, hands on course, will deal with the officer at a disadvantage after ending up on his or her back. Students will learn several skills that will provide them with options to survive and regain control of the attacker by using leg locks, arm locks, strangle holds and ground escapes.

Upon successful completion of the Ground Control Certification course, students will be certified by Special Enforcement Group, Inc. for two years.

Handcuffing and Come Along Techniques: $75 per student.  Learn use of force, come along techniques and proper command and control skills in this four hour course.

Upon successful completion of the Handcuffing and Come Along Techniques Certification course, students will be certified by Special Enforcement Group, Inc. for two years.

Knife Defense: $75 per student. In most situations, an officer would be immediately justified to escalate to deadly force when confronted with a knife attack. There are times when an officer is confronted by a spontaneous knife assault and the ability to retrieve their weapon is not possible. However, private security officers face an even higher level of threat to knife assaults, since they are rarely issued a firearm.

Our four hour Knife Defense Training has been designed to meet the needs of police, correctional and security officers. The students training will begin with a comprehensive course on offensive knife systems. The focus of this training is to raise the student's awareness to the sophistication of strategies, yet the simplicity which an officer can fall victim to a moderately trained subject with a knife.

The second phase of training will focus on the Knife Defense techniques, based upon a realistic, yet highly aggressive check and redirect philosophy. This system has evolved to the simplest form, where all of the skills are gross motor skills that are compatible to the affects of survival stress. This simplicity in design allows for quicker learning and retention under the stress of a knife assault.

Upon successful completion of the Knife Defense Certification course, students will be certified by Special Enforcement Group, Inc. for two years.

Mini-Baton: $75 per student.  This simple little 5 1/2 inch tool can be used in a wide variety of ways.  You can block, counter-strike and, most importantly, control a subject using the Persuader baton.  This course teaches law enforcement and security methods of using the Persuader Baton.

MOAB© - Management of Aggressive Behavior: $75 per student. 

This course, originally developed for members of the medical community, is a four hour comprehensive program that teaches officers the verbal principles, skills and techniques needed to recognize, reduce and manage violent and aggressive behavior.

Upon successful completion of the MOAB® Certification course, students will be certified by Personal Protection Consultants, Inc. for two years

OCAT© Pepper Spray: $75 per student.  In this four hour course you will learn how to:

• Identify the stages of conflict in order to: recognize the threat, reduce the threat and determine how and when to use force. 
  
• Apply state-of-the-art tactical concepts such as: spraying techniques, disengagement, proper defensive positions, methods of movement, multiple opponent defense, contact and cover system, defense against moving attacks, ground defense and drawing techniques.
  
• Avoid liability suits through: Certified training, understanding the effects of OC spray, identifying factors which justify OC use and proper OC incident documentation.

Upon successful completion of the OCAT® Pepper Spray Certification course, students will be certified by Personal Protection Consultants, Inc. for two years.

Pressure Point Control with Pain Compliance: $75 per student. This four hour course affords the student several opportunities to perfect what works best for you in a defensive or offensive situation.  Our hands on approach will allow you to fine tune this ancient skill by trial and error.

Upon successful completion of the Pressure Point Control with Pain Compliance Certification course, students will be certified by Special Enforcement Group, Inc. for two years.
